Full List of Phones and Tablets Confirmed by Xiaomi to Receive HyperOS Update in 2024

Xiaomi is entering a new era by ending its MIUI journey and starting with a new HyperOS platform for mobile devices.

The company has already previewed the new version and shared some details / features that Xiaomi users can expect. We’ve already seen the core lineup of Xiaomi and Redmi phones get the new platform in December 2023, and now we have more information about the phones that will be updated to HyperOS in January 2024. Here’s the full list of phones and tablets that will be updated to HyperOS next month:

– Xiaomi 13

Xiaomi 13 Pro

– Xiaomi 13 Ultra

– Redmi Note 12

– Redmi Note 12S

– Xiaomi Pad 6

The list clearly focuses on the premium and most popular devices that Xiaomi sells in China and other countries. The Xiaomi 13 model is Xiaomi’s current flagship line, including the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which was not released in many countries. But having the Redmi Note 12 and Xiaomi Pad 6 in the January 2024 list is sure to get people excited in markets like India, where these products have been launched.

Despite this, we still don’t know if the Xiaomi phones coming to India will get a new version or if MiUi itself will continue to use the custom interface. Other brands have also followed a dual interface strategy that allows them to serve non-Google and Google-backed markets.

For example, Vivo offers OriginOS in China, while in India it offers the Funtouch operating system on Vivo phones that are launched in the country. Likewise, OnePlus has offered HydrogenOS for several years in China, while sticking with OxygenOS for devices sold in India and global markets.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is preparing for its first major launch in 2024 in India, with the launch of the new Redmi Note 13 series in early January, which also includes the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model.
